Gysors Hall (Haven Hall) The building formally near this site, erected in the 13th century, was part of the Richmond estates. in c 1372, John O’Gaunt, who held the honour, made it the collecting point for his taxes in Boston. John de Gysor, twice mayor of London, his rent to the Honour of Richmond is recorded in 1282 as 1 pair of hose and 1 pair of gilt spurs. Thomas Fydell, who lived opposite, purchased the hall in 1810, and demolished it. he probably re-used the stones in the lower floors of hie new warehouse. In 1988 it was converted into flats.
