Observing Memorial Day

Memorial Day falls on the last Monday of May each year. At 3pm local time, the National Moment of Remembrance invites all Americans to pause for one minute. Many families visit a national cemetery, place a flag or flowers, and gather to share stories of those they have lost.

Three small ways to honour someone today
