Town Hall, Cardiff

Four buildings in Cardiff's history were identified as Cardiff Town Hall, each serving as the core of local governance for the Welsh capital. These structures spanned periods from the Middle Ages up until the point when Cardiff was officially recognised as a city in 1905. The final building to hold the title of Town Hall was superseded in 1906 by the newly constructed Cardiff City Hall, marking a new era. Sadly, none of these original four town halls remain today.
