St Cybi's Church

Caer Gybi. Y Gaer Rufeinig 1,700 oed, hon yw calon hanesyddol y dref. Fe'i gelwir ar ol Sant Cybi, a seiydlodd eglwys yma tua 540 OC. Mae'r eglwys a'r capel presennol yn dyddio yn oli'r Canol Oesoedd. Fortress of Cybi. This 1,700 year old Roman Fort is the historic heart of the town. It is named after Saint Cybi who established a church here in about 540 AD. The present church and chapel date back to the Middle Ages. Y Daith. Roedd Sant Cybi yn genhadwr yn Eglwys Geltaidd a deithiodd ymhell cyn setydiu yma. Mae'r gwaith celt dur yn dangos ei daith o Iwerddon i Gymru, fei yi disgrilli yn hanes "Bywyd Sant Cybi". The Journey Saint Cybi was a Celtic Church missionary who travelled widely, before settling here. This steel artwork depicts his journey from Ireland to Wales, as described in "The Life of St. Cybi".
