Gwesty Owain Glyndŵr Hotel Tŷ tafarn y goets fawr a adeiladwyd tua 1740 gyda rhannau yn dyddio o'r 14eg ganrif. Cynhaliwyd yr Eisteddfod ghyoeddus gyntaf yma yn 1789 fu'n gynsail i'n heisteddfodau ni heddiw. A coaching inn built c1740 with parts dating back to the 14th century. The first public Eisteddfod held here in 1789 set the pattern for today's eiosteddfodau.
