Machynlleth Railway Station Designed by the architect T M Penson for the Newtown & Machynlleth Railway, which became a constituent of Cambrian Railways Company in 1864 and of the Great Western Railway in 1922; opened in 1863; restored 1993-1995. The station stands in a Conservation Area.
