Ah Meng Memorial

Ah Meng, a Sumatran orangutan, became a beloved figure and tourism symbol in Singapore. Originally from Indonesia, she was found in 1971 and given a new home at the Singapore Zoo, where she lived for many years. As the matriarch of her clan, she played a significant role within the zoo's orangutan community.
