이재명의사의거터
이재명(1890-1910)은 친일 매국노인 이완용을 척살하려 한 독립 운동가이다. 평북 선천 출생으로, 1909년 명동성당에서 벨기에 황제의 추도식을 마치고 나오는 이완용을 칼로 찔렀으나, 복부와 어깨에 중상만 입히고 현장에서 체포되어 이듬해 순국하였다.
