Craigellachie Bridge. On 14 September 1994 the Queen's own Highlanders (Seaforth and Camerons) and the Gordon Highlanders met on this bridge as a sign of unity prior to the formation of the Highlanders (Seaforth, Gordons and Camerons) 3 days later at Dreghord Barracks, Edinburgh. The Gordon Highlanders Guard formed up on the Banffshire side of the River Spey with the Queen's Own Highlanders Guard approaching from Morayshire. The Commanding Officers met at the centre of the bridge, the Regimental Colour Parties then formed on the bridge and together with the Guards they marched tot he Craigellachie let by the Pipe Bands. Cabar Feidh, Agus Hundeachd Agus Erracht Gu Brath? (Seaforth and Gordons and Camerons for ever!) Erected by the Moray Council.
