In Belfast, Northern Ireland, the Northern Ireland War Memorial stands as a place of remembrance. Opened in 2007 on Talbot Street, it succeeded an earlier building known as Memorial House. This earlier site, located in Waring Street, experienced destruction in 1941. The current memorial houses the Home Front Exhibition and includes a national tribute to those who lost their lives during the Belfast blitz.
