William Ralph Dean. Dixie Dean the legendary Everton centre forward was the most lethal header of the ball in the history of the game. In his first full season with Everton in 1925-26 he scored 32 goals in 38 games. The pinnacle of his career was in the 1927-28 season when he scored an unpassable total of 60 league goals in 39 games.
