Standing proudly on Liverpool's Keel Wharf waterfront, the Wheel of Liverpool offers a distinctive perspective of the River Mersey. Originally launched on 25 March 2010, this significant observation wheel was conceived to enhance the city's appeal to visitors. Its development followed three years of careful planning by Great City Attractions, who aimed to boost tourism.

The impressive structure, standing at 196 feet, comprises 42 enclosed capsules. It underwent a period of refurbishment abroad, returning to its waterfront location in Spring 2021. The wheel's presence marked a new chapter for the city's observation attractions, replacing an earlier, smaller wheel that had been situated at the Liverpool One complex.
