Rautainen kuula luonnonkiven päällä. Henkilöllisyys selvisi vasta 1950-luvulla. Sotilas, krenatööritarkk'ampuja Josef Johan Israelinpoika Back Närpiöstä (4.7.1826 - 9.8.1855) kaatui Särkiniemen taistelussa, jossa torjuttiin englantilaisten maihinnousu.
