DORKING HALLS The Halls were designed by Percy W. Meredith for a private company in 1931. Since the beginning, they have been associated with Ralph Vaughan Williams and the Leith Hill Musical festival, and have also provided a centre for musical excellence in the county. In 1946 they were purchased by the Urban District Council, and underwent a major refurbishment in 1997.
