He revived freemasonry in Derby, founding the Tyrian Lodge, 26th March 1785, its predecessor, the Virgin's Inn Lodge, founded 14th September 1732, having been disbanded. Also his daughter Elizabeth Bridget Pigot 1783-1866 Poet and friend of Byron
