The Eccles Wakes Mural The original was commissioned by Mrs Edith Lloyd and was painted by Ed Bovey in 1980. This new mural was designed and painted in 2012. The project was funded by Forever Manchester, The Barton Fair Share Trust. It was commissioned by The Rotary Club of Eccles in its eightieth year.
