Length 76', Beam 11', Draft 6', Tonnage 16. To honour Capt. RICHARD NICHOLLS and the Epic voyage of the Lugger MYSTERY which sailed from the harbour on the 18th November 1854 and arrived at Melbourne, Australia 116 days later on 14th March 1855. Members of the Gallant Crew were Captain RICHARD NICHOLLS, Joe Kelynack, William Badcock, Richard Badcock, Charles Boase. This plaque is erected to the memory of our GRANDFATHER CAPTAIN RICHARD NICHOLLS, by V. May Wills and N. C. K. Wills.
