Branwell Brontë

When the Brontë family lived in Haworth this was the druggists house and shop. The pharmacist at the time was Betty Hardacre & it was she who dispensed laudenum an opium derived drug to Bramwell Brontë in the years leading up to his death in September 1848, aged 31.
