Ashton Parish Workhouse

Tameside Metropolitan Borough Fletcher Street Ashton Parish Workhouse 1730-1851 This marks the site of the Ashton Parish Workhouse. It was replaced by the much larger Union Workhouse on Fountain Street. Unveiled by Councillor Jackie Lane 10th September 2011
