Christianshavns Enveloppe stands as a reminder of historic defences, situated before the ramparts of Christianshavns Vold and the Stadsgraven on Amager, within Copenhagen. The northern section of these former outworks remains remarkably intact and forms a significant part of Freetown Christiania, where it is recognised as Dyssen.

The southern part of the Enveloppe met a different fate, being removed during the early twentieth century. In its place, a public area now exists, known as Enveloppeparken, offering a space for remembrance and reflection on the site's layered history.
